When will the gift be ready, and how can I pick it up?
Please give 5 working days notice before your gift is required. Orders placed with less notice may not be fulfilled.
When the order is ready you will receive an email notification asking you to collect your order from CB.01.20 UTSI packing table (also known as "the brown table behind Mathilda's desk").
Can I order anything on the website?
All requests are reviewed for suitability before the order is fulfilled. Please keep in mind level of seniority and cultural appropriateness when placing your order. If you need advice, reach out to internationalrelations@uts.edu.au for help. A few quick tips:
- Clocks and items with blades are not appropriate for Chinese guests
- Beautifully presented gifts are expected in Japanese and Korean culture
- Four is an unlucky number in Japan, China, and Korea - avoid giving four of an item
Do I need to mention anything in the order notes?
Yes, in the "add notes" section of the cart page please let us know who and what the order is for and when it is needed by. Also let us know if the item needs to be wrapped. Example: Order for students from Pusan University South Korea attending a study tour. Need to pick up by October 23rd.
Can I personalise my order?
Engraving may be possible. Approval will depend upon the nature of the event and level of seniority of the recipient.
